On Wednesday, September 22, Microsoft will host its next major production event. Although no official announcement has been made, industry experts say all the evidence points to the new Surface Pro, the second Gene Surface Duo dual-screen device, the Surface Go 3 and others. Microsoft’s invitation to the event did not elaborate, simply saying, “Join us to see what happens next.”
Like Apple, Microsoft’s failure to provide a clear indication of where the company’s hardware strategy is heading. The Surface Pro 8, which is expected to be released on Wednesday, will improve all versions of existing devices. With the launch of Windows 11 on October 5 and Intel recently launching Alder Lake CPUs, all eyes are on Microsoft and its customers this season.
Here you can expect to hear about it at Microsoft.
Surface Pro is good for updating
Surface Pro is in dire need of updates, and will be upgrading later this year. The current Surface Pro 7 looks similar to the sleek, sleek bezels and limited port options. Microsoft’s new Surface Pro, with its narrow edges and two thunderstorms, could be called the Surface Pro 8. It is rumored that the next generation Surface Pro will be shipped without a USB-A port. This will be the first design change for the Surface Pro in years. Hybrid 2-in-1 can support SSDs powered and replaced by 11th-generation Intel processors. Analysts expect the new Surface Pro to be worth $ 800 for the basic version.

Hey, how about the Surface Duo?
The second-generation Surface Duo is expected to be the main attraction by Wednesday. It is no different from its existing device: it has the same dual screen and format but in addition to 5G support it also includes improved cameras, NFC non-touch charges, Wi-Fi 6 compatibility and “wireless power transmission”. Expect the Surface Duo 2 to work with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 processor and better software support. Like the previous one, the new version also works on Google’s Android operating system. Critics of the original Surface Duo called it an unfinished instrument and felt rough. Microsoft can solve all these issues with the second generation Surface Duo. Hopefully, Redmond’s giant Surface Duo will be launching in a special way this time around.
What about the next Surface Go and Surface Pro X?
What about Surface Go? Well, the new Surface Go 3 also seems to be unveiled during a major crash in Microsoft. Don’t expect Microsoft to change the design language of the budget Surface device this year. But yes, the Surface Go 3 should come with Intel Pentium Gold 6500Y or Intel Core i3-10100Y processors. It still has a 10.5-inch screen, 64GB of AMC storage on the switch and a 5MP front camera on Windows Hello. The Surface Go was targeted at the iPad for the first time during last week’s Apple crash.
Little is known about the device, but it is possible to see Microsoft launching its new Surface Pro X. Expect the Windows tablet to have the same Qualcomm Snapdragon SQ2 processor, the latest Surface Pro X and 16GB RAM. Must see if the new Surface Pro X has support for 120Hz display.

Is Microsoft announcing the new Surface Book 4?
Surface Book is Microsoft’s most powerful notebook with powerful details and a removable screen. Although Microsoft has just announced the arrival of the new Surface Book, reports suggest that the next model could feature a 14-inch high-resolution display and Nvidia RTX graphics. The next Surface Book is likely to offer a drag-and-drop display instead of being completely isolated. It could be called the Surface Book 4 or Surface Book Pro and it conflicts with Apple’s 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros.
One more thing…
The company’s top-notch one-on-one Surface Studio is in dire need of renovation. Surface Studio 2 was re-announced in 2018, and has not been updated since. It’s still a unique device starting at $ 3,499, but it’s also aimed at designers and “pro” consumers. A big change for Surface Studio could be a lack of performance, a new design language, perhaps thinner edges, and a larger display. It will be amazing if Microsoft announces the new Surface Studio tomorrow.
We are forced to see and see if the story is true. Microsoft streams the event live and you can follow Express Technology live blog online. Preparations are scheduled for PT / 8:30 pm IST.
