Preparatory Basketball Media Choice Black Lacota Tech Girls Move to the Stages

The Lakota Tech Girls Basketball Team has been roaming around the top five of this season’s pre-season basketball media picks, looking out over the past few weeks.

But after last week’s 46-point and 30-point win over Hot Springs and minor injuries, Tatanka moved to Division A and now out of Flandreau and St. Louis.

Lakota Tech has now won nine games and is tied with Florence and STM with 11 to 18 votes. This week it hosts St. Francis and Todd County.

Elsewhere, in a public opinion poll released last Monday, the White River women’s team won Colom 87-18 and Aberdeen Christian dropped by 5 points to Hered / Celby to move from No. 5 to No. 5.

The South Dakota Preliminary Media Basketball commentary for the January 31 event is listed below, which includes the top five teams, the team record, the points scored and the previous public opinion polls. Primary sounds are listed in parentheses.
