Dubai: The world’s first solar charging point has been launched at Expo 2020 Dubai to light up its fleet of electric van van.
UPS announced this alongside its partners Arrival and DP World at a press conference at the Expo on Sunday.
Solar is powered by solar panels on the roof of the DAP World Floor, which transmits solar energy through the processing system to the charging station (BESS).
The UPS electric vehicles used at the expo will be part of the company’s major transition to zero-emission ship over the next three years.
