KU won its 20th regular season championship and NCAA record 63rd, while BU won its second consecutive Big 12 title.
For the 2022 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship, March 9-12. Kansas is ranked No. 1 after winning the Ballon d’Or. As the two regular season divisions split, the Jaihawks split with third-ranked Texas Tech, who took the Bears.
Texas is No. 4 race, followed by No. 5 TCU, No. 6 Iowa State, and No. 7 Oklahoma. Cyclones take over the Sooners because of its division with Texas 4. ISU and OU have lost both their top three games against OU, while OU have lost both to UTU. The seven best seed greetings in the first round and start their game on Thursday. No. 8 K-State will face West Virginia in the first round on Wednesday. Oklahoma State is unfit for post-season competition this year.
