MediaTek introduced two new chips in the Dimensity 800 and 900 series, Dimensity 810 and Dimensity 920. The new chipset is for 5G smartphones. The new Dimensity 810 is based on 6 nm process technology and the Cortex-A76 CPU has speeds of up to 2.4 GHz. It comes with support for 120 Hz display and advanced noise reduction technology (MFNR and MCFT) camera technology to improve low light photography. 64MP cameras are also supported.
Other camera features also include intelligent AI-color in collaboration with AI-Bokeh and Arcsoft.
Support for MediaTek HyperEngine 2.0 gaming technology also comes for improved resource and network management.

The MediaTek Dimensity 920 is also based on a 6nm production node and is said to offer 9% better gaming performance compared to the Dimsens 900 chip.
It comes with an octa-core Arm Cortex-A78 CPU that can support up to 2.5 GHz clock speeds by adjusting the update rate according to the display content. Supports ISR for native cameras, 4K video and the main component HR.
It comes with HyperEngine 3.0, which improves the connection between games, high-speed trains and super-point technology.
It also supports UFS 3.1 storage and various connection options such as dual 5G SIM, dual VoNR, 5G SA / NSA network, 2 × 2 MIMO Wi-Fi 6 connection, Bluetooth 5.2, multi GNS and more.
