Today is that day. Mahindra XUV700 finally arrives at the World Premier League today at 4 pm (IST). One day before the start of India’s 75th Independence Day. Marking the generation transition from the original XUV500, the XUV700 has been around for a long time and is in full swing during the festive season.
Spy image leaked a few days ago I confirmed that Mahindra XUV700 is taking over the last XUV500. The XUV500’s typical fan shape extension has an exaggerated definition with the same square grid with vertical chrome highlights and rectangular LED headlights. The flashlight is the first part of the door handle and looks like an SUV with 18-inch alloy wheels. At the back, the corner theme follows the back with a full LED backlight, and the black columns create a floating ceiling effect.
Mahindra also revealed some important details about the interior and features of the Mahindra XUV700, including a clear view of the dashboard. Prominent here is the dual screen layout reminiscent of modern Mercedes. There is a fully-fledged digital cluster, a sophisticated Sony 3D sound system that runs the new system called “Adreno X”. The system combines Alexa-based voice commands, Sony 3D audio system and modes named “Zip”, “Zap” and “Zoom” (for diesel XUV700 only).
Other features, such as a large panoramic sunscreen, driver alarm system, air filter, and personal safety message, are already known. The XUV700 will be equipped with some advanced driver support systems (ADAS).
This Mahindra XUV700 is based on the new monocoque architecture. The SUV is fitted with the same engine described in the second-generation Mahindra Thar, but in a different adjustment mode. Approximately 190 hp, approximately 350 Nm 2.0 liter stallion turbo gasoline and 2.2 liter m Hawk. At a power of more than 400 Nm and a discharge close to 190 horsepower. Both engines come with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic switch. Mindrara also confirmed that a download system is available as an option.
Mahindra XUV700 uses Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alkazar. The Mahindra XUV700 is expected to cost between 160,000 and 230,000 rupees (in front of the display).
