The XUV700 – which marks the transition from the original XUV500 – has been around for a long time and is set to begin this holiday season as the action in the three-row SUV space intensifies.

Spy images released a few days ago confirm that the Mahindra XUV700 will pick up the last XUV500. The XUV500 has a rectangular grid similar to the standard chrome highlights and angle LED headlights with a more exaggerated definition. Drainage door handles are room-first, and the SUV appears to have 18-inch alloy wheels. At the back, the corner theme continues behind the full LED tail lights, and the dark columns create a floating ceiling effect.

Mahindra also revealed some key details about the Mahindra XUV700 interior and features list, including a clear view of the dashboard. Prominent here is the dual screen layout reminiscent of modern Mercedes. There is a full digital device cluster, a sleek Sony 3D sound system in the touch screen section of the new operating system called Microsoft Adrenox. This system combines Alexa-based voice commands and modes of “Zip”, “Zip” and “Zoom” (designated for diesel XUV700 only).

Other features, such as large panoramic sunscreen, driver fatigue warning system, air filter and personalized security messages, are already known. The XUV700 is expected to have some advanced driver support systems (ADAS).

This Mahindra XUV700 will be based on a new monocoque architecture. The SUV is expected to come with the same engines as the second-gen Mahindura Tar, but in various statistics states: -2.0-liter Stallion turbo-petrol at approximately 190 hp and around 350 Nm, and 2.2-liter mihawk with diesel to 190 hp and over 400 Nm. Capable. Both engines come with a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission. Mikandra has also confirmed that a download system is available as an option.
