About Lady Topers
- WKU opened the C-USA game 1-0 with a 98-88 win over South Miss on Thursday to open the conference. The win was the third straight victory for the Lady Topers in the last eight games.
- Thursday’s fast-paced WKU is the highest-ranked WKU team in the FIU since January 11, 2018, scoring more than 20 points per quarter and placing 98 points on the board.
- Meral Abdelgawad And Mia Meredith He had career nights with 36 and 24 points respectively. Alexis Med He joined the two doubles with 13 points.

She finished second in the league with 30 points.
