An industry study has made headlines this month as we examine the growing security threats in our volatile market. Business and public sector organizations are making great strides in the scale and complexity of cyber-attacks, with a new study by BT showing that malware traffic has increased by more than 50 percent in the past six months. In the face of a shortage of trained security professionals, organizations are struggling to protect themselves from cyber-attacks. New findings from Hitachi ID, part of the Cyber Security Awareness Month, show that only 16 percent of organizations have switched to a zero-security security strategy using fully integrated identity and access management tools. The Czech point-of-mouth survey shows that cyber-attacks against companies in 2021 are up 40 percent a week compared to a year ago. By September 2021, the average weekly attack on each organization worldwide had reached a peak of more than 870 attacks. This is more than double the number of attacks in March 2020. This month, HP released its latest threat awareness report along with real-world cyber security attacks. The HP Wolf Security Risk Research Team has found evidence that cybercriminals are moving quickly to take on new zero-day vulnerabilities.
Considering these growing pressures, 92 percent of North American service providers plan to add new services to their cyber security portfolio, according to a new study from Kaspersky.

Telefonica Tech and Cyberark are collaborating to provide a wide range of SaaS-based cybersecurity solutions for B2B customers and operators that prioritize security-based approaches. NETSCOUT has launched a new managed service offering 24×7 testing, monitoring, troubleshooting and reporting critical IT services and applications to customers.
