iPadOS 14.7 released; It brings home app, Apple music enhancements

IPod iOS 14.7 was released a few days after Apple released iOS 14.7. Thanks to the same basic architecture, this is the first time Coperino’s company will be releasing regular software updates for both iPadOS and iOS. Update to iPadOS 14.7 brings home app and podcasts. It also fixes bugs that affect Apple Music and Mail. The update also fixes security issues and vulnerabilities that can help attackers target iPad users.

iPadOS 14.7 What’s New?

The iPadOS 14.7 update, based on Apple release notes, enables a home app capable of managing timers on the HomePod. The update improves the Podcasts library so you can choose to watch all the shows or just watch the following scenes. In addition, Apple has updated the Apple Card family on iPadOS 14.7 to combine credit limits and have a co-owned account with the current Apple card user.

Along with the new additions, iPadOS 14.7 fixes a bug on the Apple Music Playlist menu option. The update also solves the problem that Dolby Atmos and Apple Music unexpectedly stopped playing lossless audio playback. Separately, Apple has fixed the problem with Braille displays on the iPad to display incorrect information when writing messages.

iPadOS 14.7 also fixes audio skipping problems when using USB Type-C headphones up to 3.5mm on the iPad.

Apple also lists the security content that comes with the iPadOS 14.7. These fixes are operating functions and components such as Action Kit, Wi-Fi, Core Audio, My Search, Web Kit and Measurement and more. Similar security fixes are also available for iPhone users via iOS 14.7.

Apple releases iPadOS 14.7 for all iPad models compatible with iPadOS 14. You can download the update on your device Settings > General > Software update.
