EMU GameAbove College of Engineering and Technology students visit Gulfstream Aerospace

Students attended Suleiman Abdirahim, Preston GrayMax Jurasek Michael Kowalski, Andrew MilletAidon Olligschlager, Abigail Richter, Naa Shafer, Olivia TomlinsonAnd Gabriel Williams. Suleiman AbdirahimA high degree in electrical engineering emphasizes the significance of the trip when examining postgraduate employment options. “As an engineering student, visiting the Gulfstream’s Research and Development Laboratory was great,” said Abdirahman. “It was encouraging to travel in the Gulfstream G650ER and then see how the main work is done and assembled.”

Naa Shafer She holds a bachelor’s degree in aviation management and is a senior flight consultant. “He had to learn a lot from this journey,” Schaefer said. “It was great to get an in-depth look at how Gulfstream manufactures the aircraft. It was a great experience to be able to fly in a jump and get off the willow, and I appreciate the opportunity.”

The Gulfstream trip will not be the last of its kind.
