Black and Whisper received federal funding to continue the live broadcast technology

Overland Park, Cannes – (Business Wire) – July 19, 2021

US Department of Energy (DOE) Black and Vech awarded $ 2.5 million in federal funding to participate in a R&D project designed to promote direct DAC technology. The world’s leading engineer develops the first engineering design of a DAC system designed to capture 100,000 tons of carbon dioxide (CO 2) emissions per year – currently unmatched.

DAC technology can emit CO 2 directly from the atmosphere, but current carbon offsets are expensive and energy consuming. DOE will provide a total of $ 12 million for six R&D projects designed to improve this pure energy technology by increasing the CO 2-level CO 2, reducing the cost of materials, and improving design and operational efficiency. Promoting DAC technologies will be an important step in helping BID-Harris manage to achieve its goal of net zero emissions and carbon neutrality by 2050.

Three of the six projects explore DAC operations in three different geographical areas with different climates. As part of the effort, Black and VH will develop a large-scale DAC system first engineering design (Technology Readiness Level 6) to be located in three locations: Odessa, Texas; Bucks, Alabama; And Goz Creek Illinois. The company serves as the main contractor responsible for project management and plant engineering balance. Black & Vetech uses innovative global thermostat DAC technology to achieve global emission solutions

“This DOE-supported cost-sharing project will enable Black and Vachch and our partners to leverage global thermostat technology and prepare them for global commercial adoption for carbon-neutral synthetic e-fuels and carbon dioxide production. ፡ Searching “Negative power generation practices,” said Jason Rowell, director of international decarbonation solutions with Black and White.

The BlackC and Wesz recently completed a technology evaluation of the DAC components for an unnamed customer of the global thermostat module, giving the engineering leader an in-depth understanding of the technology’s readiness, scope, maturity planning and business development path. The first engineering design project will begin in the middle of 2021 and is expected to last 18 months.

“This award will take our knowledge of technology and business to the next level, as well as our deep understanding of technology and economics,” said Albert Priffti, CCUS Technology Manager at Black and Vich. This will enable us to further expand our strategy to develop DAC technology for large-scale business operations in North America and around the world.
