AVer adds voice tracking for camera alignment
Video Collaboration and Ed Technology Company AVer is now offering voice tracking functionality for AVer Pro AV auto-tracking and PTZ series cameras. With AVer PTZ connectivity software and some Shure Microflex Advance microphones (including the MXA910, MXA710, MXA310 and IntelliMix P300 digital signal processor), any AVer Pro AV camera can be configured to automatically shift focus depending on what it says in a room.
PTZ Connect software allows users to connect up to five microphones to each of the AVer PTZ cameras. IP-based monitoring makes it easy to integrate those devices that do not require any programming, the company said. Other features include the option to set the time delay for the PTZ camera to set a fixed volume signal before focusing on the new speaker, as well as the preset setting for which the camera can be the default if it is not audio. Found some time later.
Adding audio tracking technology to our PR AV cameras through PTZ Link gives AVer customers the flexibility to deliver immersive audio and video experiences to their viewers, ”commented Andy Teo, Director of Product Marketing and Original Equipment Partnership at AVer. Press release. “Integrating with selected Shure microphones will help ensure excellent audio quality and performance to meet our robust video solutions.”
AVer PTZ link is available for Windows and Mac devices and can be downloaded for free from the AVer website.
