According to a recent announcement by the Idaho Department of Transportation, Idaho now has the option to renew their vehicle registration by scanning the QR code over the phone directly from the vehicle registration renewal letters. Beginning in October, all notifications include a QR code for the registration process and payment. Vehicle owners can avoid scanning the code by phone camera, avoiding going to the DMV office. Idahos still have the option to renew in person at dmv.idaho.gov, by mail or at the county DMV office.

SOAR to assist in aviation processing
The airline has announced the launch of a new system to provide fast processing to aviation distributors and aircraft registration (SOAR). Vendors, airlines and businesses are now on one screen.

Saltzer Health City Technology is recognized
According to a recent review by the American College of Health Radiology (ACR), Salzzer Health Medical Imaging Center has been granted a three-year accreditation by computer tomography (CT), the health care company recently announced. The Saltzer Health Five-Model Medical Imaging Center opened in March 2021 with a ten-mile medical campus and a ten-mile meridian I-84. The ACR gold certification seal represents the highest image quality and patient safety standards, the statement said. Image quality, staff qualifications, facility equipment adequacy, quality control procedures, appropriate patient radiation levels, and quality assurance programs will be evaluated.
